1. Introduction

The LABORATORY app ("the App") respects the privacy of its users. This policy describes what data is collected, how it is used, and what your rights are.

2. Information We Collect

The App collects the following data to enable proper functionality:

  • Account data: If you choose to create an account, your email address is collected and stored on the App's servers to identify you, back up your color accuracy streaks, and place you on the global leaderboards. Authentication is optional — the App is fully playable without an account.
  • Game data: Stage results, accuracy, number of moves, and selected colors — stored on the App's servers to display rankings and history.
  • Anonymous usage data: Analytics events (for example, starting a game, completing a stage) to improve the user experience. These do not contain direct personal identification.
  • Device/language data: Collected in general terms only, and do not uniquely identify your device.

3. Local Storage

The App stores on your device (localStorage) the state of the daily game and the fact that you completed onboarding. This data is not sent to a server and is not personally associated with you.

4. Personalization and Sharing

Sharing actions (WhatsApp, Messenger, email, system share) are performed directly through the platform app you choose and are outside our control. We do not store your contact list or the content of what you share.

5. Third-Party Services

The App is hosted on the Base44 infrastructure and uses the platform's analytics services. This data is subject to the privacy policies of these service providers.

6. Your Rights

At any time you may:

  • Request deletion of your account and associated game data directly from the App via Account Settings → Delete Account. This triggers permanent deletion of your account and data from the App's servers.
  • Play without an account — no registration is required.
  • Delete local data by clearing the browser/app cache.
  • Stop using the App.

7. Children

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We are not aware of any deliberate collection of data from children.
